Imagine a world where learning to trade doesn’t start with loss, fear, or blind guesses, but with confidence, practice, and real understanding. MINT is the bridge between curiosity and competence in the financial world. It creates a living market classroom where beginners don’t just watch charts they trade them, test them, and learn from them without risking real money.
We built a time-machine for traders a platform that replays real historical markets, lets users place virtual trades, analyzes their decisions, and teaches them why they were right or wrong. MINT transforms confusing charts into conversations, turning data into intuition through AI guidance, simulations, and interactive lessons.
In simple terms: We turned the stock market into a safe playground for learning.

Because once people can practice without fear, they don’t just learn trading they master it.

Inspiration
Learning finance before mint felt like trying to climb a 90 degree wall with no help. MINT was inspired by the gap between passive learning and real trading experience, where beginners had no safe way to practice what they learned.
We wanted to replace fear based learning with hands on simulations that build real market intuition.
The vision was to make finance accessible, practical, and confidence driven for every beginner trader.
What it does
It simplifies finance with the help of lessons,financial coach and a trading simulator while gamifying the experience
How we built it
MINT was built using a modern full stack architecture with React (TypeScript) on the frontend, Supabase and serverless functions on the backend, and machine learning models (scikit-learn, PyTorch, SHAP/LIME) for intelligent market analysis.

Challenges
We overcame the challenge of turning complex historical market data into a smooth, real time virtual trading experience while keeping the platform beginner friendly and intuitive. We solved the gap between passive learning and real world practice by building interactive simulations that let users learn by doing. Another major challenge was making confusing financial concepts simple through AI driven explanations and smart visualizations, while also designing a scalable system that could handle large user growth and real time interactions efficiently.
Accomplishments
We successfully built a fully functioning virtual trading simulator that mirrors real historical market behavior, allowing users to practice trades without financial risk. We integrated interactive learning modules with real time AI explanations, making complex trading concepts easy to grasp for beginners. The platform achieves a seamless blend of education, simulation, and intelligent assistance, laying the foundation for a scalable financial learning ecosystem that can expand across markets and users.
