  1. Is Your Water Really Safe?

SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation; SDG 12: Responsible Consumption. Your school has five water sources, but nobody knows which ones are safe. Measure the pH of each source, identify one that may need treatment, and propose a low-cost correction using a substance such as lime or washing soda. Include the balanced chemical equation.

    Expected outcome

A practical water-treatment proposal supported by pH readings and a balanced chemical equation.

  2. Keeping Vaccines Cold Without Electricity

SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy. A health worker must keep vaccines cold where electricity, batteries, solar panels and generators are unavailable. Use evaporation, latent heat and insulation to design a safe cooling system.

    Expected outcome

A scientifically accurate cooling design with materials, operating steps and temperature-safety reasoning.

  3. When Planting Trees Creates a Problem

SDG 15: Life on Land. A tree-plantation drive used species that did not suit the local soil and climate. Explain the ecological mistakes and design a correction plan based on ecosystems, biodiversity, soil and geography.

    Expected outcome

A recovery plan that identifies the overlooked ecological factors and justifies suitable species and actions.

  4. Would You Change Your Farming Method?

SDG 2: Zero Hunger. A farmer is not convinced about methods such as drip irrigation or crop rotation. State the three strongest economic, practical or cultural objections, then answer each with a realistic solution.

    Expected outcome

Three credible objections and practical responses that make a sustainable method workable for the farmer.

  5. The First 60 Seconds

SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being. Someone nearby develops a severe allergic reaction and the nearest hospital is 40 minutes away. Describe the safest actions a bystander should take in the first 60 seconds using accurate Biology and Chemistry.

    Expected outcome

A safety-first response plan that avoids harmful improvisation and explains the science behind each action.

  6. The Solar Panels Nobody Uses

SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy. A village received free solar panels, but many are now broken, unused or stored away. Investigate maintenance, ownership, suitability, repairs and responsibility, then address the root cause.

    Expected outcome

A sustainable operating and maintenance plan that explains why the original deployment failed.

  7. Who Gets the Last Dose?

SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being; SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities. One hundred treatment doses are available for 300 people. Design a fair allocation system, explain how it works, and defend it against the two strongest objections.

    Expected outcome

A clear allocation rule that can be applied consistently and defended on practical and ethical grounds.

  8. Teaching What Cannot Be Said

SDG 4: Quality Education. A school wants comprehensive health and hygiene education, but some parents object to certain topics. Design a curriculum that achieves the health outcome while addressing community concerns.

    Expected outcome

A curriculum and communication plan that balances scientific accuracy, student health and community context.

  9. One River. Three Needs. One Drought.

SDG 6: Clean Water; SDG 7: Clean Energy; SDG 2: Zero Hunger. A river supplies farms, drinking water and a hydropower plant during a severe drought. Create a reusable allocation rule and test it against the claims of each stakeholder.

    Expected outcome

A repeatable allocation rule with priorities, thresholds and a reasoned response to each stakeholder.

  10. The Girl Who Stopped Coming to School

SDG 4: Quality Education; SDG 5: Gender Equality. Girls leave secondary school around age 14 even though distance, cost and safety have been addressed. Identify the most likely hidden barrier and design a focused response.

    Expected outcome

An evidence-based explanation of the hidden barrier and a solution that targets it directly.

A working platform with verified recipients, live quantity tracking and automatic expiry of stale claims.

  2. Financial Literacy and Personal Budgeting Assistant

Build a platform that teaches saving, budgeting, loans and responsible spending while helping users understand their income and expenses.

    Expected outcome

A budgeting tool with personalised guidance that explains financial habits and core financial concepts.

  3. Child Development and Immunisation Support

Build a platform that maintains child records, tracks development milestones and vaccinations, and identifies children who may miss upcoming vaccinations when families migrate or paper records are lost.

    Expected outcome

A health-worker dashboard with child records, milestone tracking, vaccination status and reminders.

  4. Digital Platform for Rural Women Entrepreneurs

Build a simple platform that helps rural women discover relevant business information, training, markets and income opportunities.

    Expected outcome

A mobile-friendly service that connects users with useful business resources, training and opportunities.

  5. Smart Energy Usage and Saving Assistant

Build a platform that analyses electricity use, identifies consumption patterns and suggests practical ways for homes or organisations to reduce usage.

    Expected outcome

A dashboard with usage patterns, forecasts and specific recommendations for reducing consumption.

  6. Detect and Address Student Learning Gaps

Build a platform that analyses multiple student responses, identifies common misconceptions and groups students who need support with the same concept.

    Expected outcome

A teacher dashboard that identifies misconceptions and creates useful intervention groups.

  7. Guided Social-Welfare Application Platform

Build a platform that asks applicants simple questions and creates a personalised checklist for pensions, scholarships or government schemes.

    Expected outcome

A system that explains requirements, lists the required documents and identifies missing information.
